The balance on the internal commodity market means the destination of such proportions between demand and supply, when the internal needs fully provided by own and external resources. The main factors which form the branch balances on the regional commodity market are the interregional and international trade. In this article principles and methods of increasing the effectiveness of state regulations of the regional commodity market are given, taking into consideration the potential and the demands of the region.

The economic revival and Russian self-determination is closely connected with its entry into the modern world economy, with the identification of its place in the processes of globalization. Solving the problems of integration with the global economy, Russia has to consider the worldwide tendencies in the forming of the modern mixed economy, which characterize the new type of economic systems in the XXI century. The systems are being developed on the market basis under the government control of the economic life of the social stability of the society. The paper considers the essence of the definition "economic space", its basic characteristics and properties. From the point of view of the regional economy the modern structure of the economic space of the Russian Federation is examined. The catch-words of Russian politicians that Russia will be plunged into a severe economic depression if GDP is not being doubled at any price are the truth just in part in the judgment of the author. Firstly, the social problems of indigence and problems of pollution of the environment should be settled rapidly as having the top priority. Secondly, the lack of financial assets causes to look for reserves and irrationally used economic and financial resources which should be put into avail circulation. This act should be stimulated at each level of economic management and at the state lawmaking level more particularly. Thirdly, nature-conservative measures can be realized in form of immunity from taxation or giving tax remissions for those firms which put their profits in environmental engineering. It is necessary to insert amendments into Internal Revenue Code.

One of the most urgent problems of post-privatization period in Russia is considered in the article. This is process of forming new property relation formed as a joint-stock company with employees-shareholders (people’s company). Contradictions in low basis and in activity of people’s companies are determined. Trends of future improvement of this process are also offered. We believe that such analysis of joint-stock companies with employees-shareholders forming will be useful not only for researchers, studying problems of property and new forms of business, but also for government authority.
