The given work is devoted to formation of theoretical basis of the analysis of efficiency of development of economy of region for improvement of quality of a complex estimation of results of the state strategy in the field of development of regions.

State management modernisation of regional economy must be based on strengthening the feedback between of achieved results and approved objectives. In this article author analyzes theoretical problems and proposes ways of improving criterion support for analysis of regional economy effectiveness.
