The crucial importance of the choice of working out and implementation mechanism of industrial policy system concept in the regional dimension is noted; three models of industrial policy are considered: exportoriented, import substitution and innovative; the strategy of accelerated industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan is analyzed; the uniqueness of solution to the problem of industrial policy and self-development of business structures interrelation is emphasized.
